Tennis player Emma Raducanu has recently provided fresh injury updates on the forthcoming French Open 2025. The star player had a great start to the tournament as she defeated Daria Kasatkina in the opening round of the Strasbourg Open with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-3. However, she ultimately faltered against USA star Danielle Collins at the ongoing WTA 500 tournament.
Raducanu has stated that she had been struggling with a 'frustrating' issue with her back ahead of the second Grand Slam of the year. The fans have expressed their disappointment after their favourite WTA star is struggling ahead of Roland Garros, slated to take place from May 25 in Paris.
Raducanu had a great start to the game against Collins as she smacked breathtaking shots to take a lead after winning the opening set. However, the second set saw the 22-year-old tennis star calling a medical time-out and eventually suffering defeat in the next two sets and getting crashed out from the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Brit star has talked about her issues with being back in the game. Emma Raducanu revealed that she is facing intense back spasms after her victory over Daria in the opening round. She revealed that she somehow managed to play the second game against Collins, but it got annoying and frustrating after winning the first set of the game.
“Well, I felt it after the first round. And then yesterday, I just tried to manage it and got treatment. But, I mean, it was pretty stiff and sore. I've had bad back problems before the start of the year; I was out for, like, a few months because of it. Yeah, it's annoying; it's frustrating. I get these spasms and they are quite intense and can last quite a long time. I'll just try and make it better," Emma Raducanu said.
