Tennis legend Novak Djokovic seems to be going through an extremely tough phase of his tennis career, with his recent three losses raising big questions about his career. The first came in the 2025 Australian Open when he retired during his semifinal game against world number two Alexander Zverev due to grave injuries. However, the Serbian ace's stellar win over Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-final of the first Grand Slam of the year was a defining moment of the tournament.
Despite a hamstring injury forcing him to get ruled out of the Australian Open 2025, Novak Djokovic suffered opening-round defeats in the Qatar Open 2025 and Indian Wells Masters 1000 tournaments after his losses to Matteo Berrettini and Botic van de Zandschulp, respectively.
It's worth noting that the Serbian ace had a struggling 2024 year where he failed to win a single Grand Slam title, with young players like Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner winning two each. However, the 37-year-old tennis legend went on to win the gold medal match against 21-year-old Alcaraz during the Paris Olympics, and it was his sole achievement during last year's edition. Meanwhile, Djokovic is set to be in action during the Miami Open 2025 after his exit from the BNP Paribas Open 2025.

Nicolas Escude's audacious claim on 24-times Grand Slam winner!
Speaking about the same subject, former tennis player Nicolas Escude stated that the 24-time major champion seems to be in a declining form, and he does not see him winning any more Grand Slam titles from here on. The 48-year-old legend reckoned that players like Sinner and Alcaraz are dominating the tennis world and won't be leaving any stone unturned to allow Djokovic to win any more titles.
"He's in decline. At the beginning of the year, we asked ourselves the question about Djokovic, and I don't see him winning another Grand Slam; it's too complicated for him. Now, there are players ahead of him. Sinner and Alcaraz are dragging down many players who are below him in the rankings," Escudé said.
