The Geneva Open's main draw is to begin right now and it is time to talk about the highest-seeded player in the tournament who is none other than Novak Djokovic. The Serbian powerhouse is no doubt one of the favourites to win the tournament being the world number 1 and most followed player in the tournament. He will be the guy who will be bringing a lot of traffic in what was supposed to be just an average ATP 250 tournament.

The other thing we have to know is that Novak Djokovic hasn't had the best of seasons this year as well as he has not won a single title so far. Even the Clay season has not led to a lot of success for the 24-time Grand Slam champion. This will be the chance for Djokovic to get some games and finally get a title just before the Clay season finale which will be starting tomorrow. This is the time when we see what could be the potential draw for the great player.

The Djokovic draw in Geneva

being the higher-seeded player there is no doubt that Djokovic will get a bye for the first round and will start his season in the second round. This round could result in Djokovic facing his long-time rival Andy Murray or Yannick Hanfmann. This could be another great rivalry match coming up which everyone will be looking forward to. The quarter-finals could also be a decent game as it can either lead up to the last Geneva Open finalist Dennis Shapalov or the upcoming Dutch talent Tallon Griekspoor. This should be an easy win considering the great Djokovic, but we can never be sure of the result.

The semi-final opponent will most likely be leading American talent Taylor Fritz who has had a decent season where he has been in great form this season. This could be one of the toughest contests for the Serbian in the tournament. The finals on the other hand will either feature Casper Ruud or Ben Shelton if he makes it through. Djokovic will either have the chance to get his chance to take revenge for his Monte Carlo loss against the Norwegian or face a new talent in Ben Shelton who could surprise even the best of players on the card. Overall this will be one of the toughest draws in the tournament for the 24-time grand slam champion in the Geneva Open.
