If there is a legend of tennis that we should know right now it is Novak Djokovic. The Serbian has been leading the ATP rankings and breaking several records throughout his career. With over 400 weeks and still holding those high rankings the 24-time grand slam champion is still regarded as the top guy in the business and known for his all round-court game and his mental stability and IQ which are effective in pressure games.

Though he has had a lot of achievements this has not been the best of starts for Novak Djokovic as he is yet to win a title this season. This is one of the rare moments of his career where he has gone in a season without winning a single trophy. By the standards he has created this can be termed as one of his most underwhelming seasons to date. The Italian Open was where we saw Djokovic compete for the last time where he faced one of his most disappointing exits from the tournament.

Djokovic to play in Geneva

We all thought that Rome was the last ATP clay season title chance for Djokovic where he had a chance to ensure his dominance in a tournament he achieved a lot of success. However, that will no longer be the case as he will be playing the Geneva Open after taking the wildcard entry. This will be an ATP 250 tournament where Djoko will be the highest-seeded player in the tournament. This came as a surprise to the fans who will still see him play just before the Clay season finale in France.

Though this is not a big tournament in the world it will still be iconic considering Djokovic will be featuring in the tournament which will also feature one of his long-time rivals Andy Murray. This will also give him enough game time going into the Roland Garros which will be the major Clay season tournament to watch out for. This will also be an opportunity to finally win an ATP title and get back his confidence.
