Power couples in the sporting world have been a big thing. It is always great to see two sports icons come together as a couple and have a happy life. Even the world of Tennis has such love stories. Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf and Shoaib Malik, Sania Mirza are some of the most notable sports power couples we know today. The sports fans are also eager to learn about the history of these power couples. However, recently Mirza and Malik separated as they announced their separation through a social media post.
Another Power couple in the mix is a Ukranian Tennis player with 17 career titles Elina Svitilona and her equally talented husband Gael Monfils, who has been one of the top 10 tennis players in the world at one time. The couple has enjoyed a happy 6-year marriage right now, but before this reunion, The 29-year-old Tennis player was involved with another popular sportsman as well.

The sportsman we are talking about is none other than England and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star pacer Reece Topley. Topley has taken more than 70 international wickets and 211 wickets in T20s and is one of England’s upcoming talents. The couple met in London and had a relationship which lasted for 18 months. This was called another sports power couple that we have known. Unfortunately, this relationship could not last long, but there is still a great amount of respect between the two successful sportsmen in their fields.
The stories of their romance garnered a lot of attention on social media. Although it did not work out completely, it is still great to see that both have mutual respect for one another in their fields. While Topley is currently enjoying a cricketing career, Svitolina is also having a great life as a player and is enjoying a happy family life with her husband and their child. Even though they have gone separate ways it was still a great cross-sport romance story that we still enjoy stories about.
