Check out: Aryna Sabalenka, Donna Vekic, and Jessica Pegula Spotted at the Wuhan Player Party

The Wuhan Open was last played in 2019 and after that due to covid and many other issues, the tournament didn’t happen for 4 years. Aryna is the defending champion.

The Wuhan Open tournament is underway and many leading WTA stars are playing in this tournament. The biggest names in WTA tennis are US Open 2024 winner Aryna Sabalenka, Runner Jessica Pegula with fellow top seeds Madison Keys all playing Dongfeng Voyah Wuhan Open tournament.

Prior to the tournament, the organizers arranged for a party for all the WTA stars to attend. Many stars emerged at the party with some style including Aryna Sabalenka, Donna Vekic, and Jessica Pegula were also found attending the party.

Talking about the tournament, Sabalenka said, “It's been a while since I've been here. I remember my first time winning Wuhan was a very special moment. After winning it two times in a row, I was very sad that I couldn’t come back the following year. Coming back, actually, everything feels like home, I have really beautiful memories from the past. I hope I can replicate my results from 2019.”

This is the final WTA 1000 event this year and the players were greeted with fashion, food, and some local specialties at the party. The event will conclude on October 13, 2024. The Tennis tournament will be played with 64 players competing for a win. After losing the quarter-finals at the China Open, Aryna will be hoping to seal the tournament which will help her move to the top spot in Tennis.

Before starting to breathe fire in the court each player arrived at the party with some fashion and style. Aryna came with a tailored Sleeveless blouse and trousers. Jessica Pegula came with a long dress, and Leylah Fernandez came with an olive green and short black dress.

Many other WTA stars like the world no 1 Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jasmine Paolini, Elena Rybakina, and Ons Jabeur have withdrawn from the tournament citing some issues. Sabelenka will be the defending champion who won in 2019 as the tennis tournament returns to the calendar after 4 years.
