"I absolutely love padel. I play it whenever I get the chance." Although this was his first time watching a high-level tournament live, he expressed his admiration for the sport's intensity: "Watching it in person is incredible," Carlos said.

During his time at the P1 event in Miami, Carlos also got the opportunity to reconnect with one of his old-time friends Arturo Coello. "When he saw me playing tennis, I told him that one day he’d play tennis and I’d play padel with him,"  Carlos added.

Carlos Alcaraz has not got the best of starts in 2025. He has faltered in most of the ATP events. He failed to reach the finals of the last three events he participated in. He lost in the Quarterfinals of the Qatar Open against Jiri Lehecka. He then went on to lose in the Indian Wells in the semi-finals. However, he remains confident to turn things around in his favour moving forward. "I’m really excited, and I’m already preparing for what’s to come," Carlos said.
