Swiatek shares her answer on overcoming pressure

There is no doubt that Iga Swiatek was the favorite to win Gold in the Olympics, but in the end she had to settle for a bronze medal. This is still a great achievement but she still had a lot of pressure being the number one ranked player and also gave a great answer on what is her way of overcoming the pressure. The Polish superstar even compared he ways with Carlos Alcaraz saying " Carlos Alcaraz has a completely different personality than me, he travels to tournaments with many people, enjoys life, has fun and celebrates successes in a completely different way, For me, it's more important to have peace around me, take care of simple pleasures and spend time with my loved ones."

This statement by the WTA World number one proves that though the two players have the same level of dominance they are very different personalities in the end. Both Swiatek and Alcaraz are one of the most gifted tennis players with impressive footwork and are full of energy, but it does not change the fact that the two are different and iconic personalities in their own way which we all love.
