Alexander Zverev marks his 28th Australian Open win
The German-born star put his foot to the floor at the Margaret Court Arena to sweep past the 92nd ranked in 2 hours and 2 minutes in a thrilling showdown. “I think he is an incredible player. He went through all the stages - college, Futures, Challengers, not he is on the big tour and playing in the third round of a Grand Slam. Massive respect to him. Massive respect to the effort he has put into the sport. I think he is going to get better in the next few years,” Alexander Zverev said after the win.
