WATCH: ATP Tennis stars share the most used emojis in their smartphones at Qatar Open 2025

ATP Tennis stars like Danii Medvedev, Carlos Alcaraz, and Andrey Rublev are in the Qatar Open 2025 tournament. It is an ATP 500 tournament, top tennis stars are battling against each other to win the cup. The tournament is nearing its end as we are in the quarter-finals stage. Andrey Rublev will play against another top seed Alex de Minaur, Auger Aliassime who will play against Daniil Medvedev, Carlos Alcaraz will play against Lehecka and Jack Draper will play Berrettni.

Carlo Alcaraz and Defending champion Daniil Medvedev are favourites to play the finals in Doha. The Spaniard recently won the ABN AMRO Open 2025 Cup by defeating Alex De Minaur in the finals. The Australian lost back-to-back finals against Jannik SInner and Alcaraz. Alex will look to take his revenge at the Qatar Open by defeating Alcaraz.

But before that, the tennis players had a friendly chat with the social media. They were asked about the most used emojis in their smartphone. Rublev says “I don't want to say something bad. I go with relaxed ‘Heart’ (as most used). In the past, it was a Monkey with closed eyes and a praying hand I guess, and high five. Now I’m not using emojis often. Now, Too old.” When asked to describe Doha with an emoji Rublev chose the Arabic mosque.

Danii Medvedev said, “The two with the hands (Worship) and (Raising both hands). It’s when many people send congrats on something and I’m like, thank you, guys.” For Game style Medvedev said, “Two choices that I let everyone choose. It's a bear or an octopus.”

His most used emoji is the laughing one. When asked to describe Doha he said, “Its a Qatari flag and do they have a falcon. I don't think so. I would go with a desert one with sand.” Jack Draper was different when asked about his most used emoji. He said, “I would say the Ice cold one.” His emoji for Doha is ‘Fire’. His current mood emoji was ‘Happy and Not Happy’.
