Tennis sensation Aryna Sabalenka took a cheeky dig at her team after winning the Miami Open 2025 title in Florida. The Belarusian star defeated the star player Jessica Pegula with a scoreline of 7-5, 6-2 in the final showdown.
The world number one thanked her parents, teammates, and coaches who played a great role in shaping her journey to lift the first title of the Miami Open. The Belarusian star revealed that she was thrilled to be a part of this WTA 1000 event.
During a lighthearted conversation, the world number one took a hilarious swipe at her team by calling them family who spent time with her 24 hours. This clip showcases how much a team plays a role in shaping the career of tennis players. Notably, Sabalenka has always been known for her playful antics and has always been seen taking digs toward her team, irrespective of win or loss.
"Thank you, everyone, who helped me during this tournament. I mean, I really enjoyed playing here. I enjoyed every minute here. And winning this trophy on this special date is super special for me. So I'll just say thank you, my team, for everything. You're not my team. You're my family. We spent 24-7, unfortunately, together. But I love you so much. And I really appreciate for everything you do for me," Aryna Sabalenka said.

Aryna Sabalenka clinches second title of the 2025 season
Meanwhile, Sabalenka wins the second title of this year. She kicked off her journey with Brisbane Open 2025 and won the title. However, the tennis player was able to make it to the finals of the Australian Open 2025 but faltered against eventual champion Madison Keys.
In addition, the 26-year-old also made it to the Indian Wells 2025 final, but 17-year-old teenage sensation Mirra Andreeva thwarted her in the summit clash.
