Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka has recently shared a sweet message to her close friend and rival Paula Badosa after the latter was forced to pull out from the ongoing Mutua Madrid Open 2025. Notably, the Spanish star was last seen in action at the Miami Open 2025 but pulled out of the tournament in the fourth round due to an extended back injury. Thereafter, she pulls out from the Charleston Open 2025 before withdrawing her name from the first Clay Court 1000 tournament.

The 27-year-old star player has recently shared an emotional note to reveal that she has withdrawn her name from the Madrid Open due to back-to-back injury struggles. The star player must have kept the French Open 2025 target and decided to pull out of the Madrid Open.

On the other hand, world number one, Aryna Sabalenka, has been in stellar form. She made it to the finals of the Stuttgart Open 2025 earlier this month. The star player is currently aiming to win her third title of the year in the Mutua Madrid Open 2025.

The Belarusian was recently seen on the Twitch channel, where she was seen talking about her close friend Badosa's withdrawal from the tournament. However, Sabalenka admitted that it was the right decision for Badosa to give priority to her health and later wished her a quick recovery.

"I’m really sad that she can’t play in front of her people. I wish her a quick recovery. It was better to stop and deal with it, hopefully she’ll be 100% soon," Aryna Sabalenka said.

In a lighthearted moment ahead of the Madrid Open Twitch channel, the 26-year-old star player showed off her Spanish vocabulary skills. The tennis player then hilariously blamed Badosa for not teaching her this language.

"Gracias, Madrid. Vamos! The truth is that Paula doesn’t teach me Spanish. Badosa doesn’t believe in me," Sabalenka said.
