Jannik Sinner is better than me at the moment: Alexander Zverev
Meanwhile, Jannik Sinner was stellar and showcased his beast form in the final showdown. After losing the game, Zverev talks about where he lost the game. The Germany-born star feels that he wasn't the best on the court and failed badly in giving a fight to Sinner on the court. The 27-year-old tennis star feels the Italian is one of the best players to win on the hard courts. The star player was disappointed as he failed to win the title of the Grand Slam in his career despite making it to the finals for the third time.
“Jannik is better than me at the moment. It’s as simple as that. I think I serve better than Jannik, and everything else he does better. At the end of the day, he deserves to win. He’s the best player on hardcourts right now. It was a difficult moment for me now, for the third time, seeing somebody lift the trophy and me standing next to that is difficult because there’s nothing more I want than to be able to hold one of those trophies in my hands,” Zverev said after the loss.
