Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will compete in the third consecutive Grand Slam final in 2025 at the US Open. The World No.2 overcame Novak Djokovic 6-4, 7-6(4), 6-2 in the straight sets in his semifinal match. The World No.1 beat Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to book his spot in the big final.
Alcaraz had the tougher challenge in the semifinal against the Serbian. However, the Serbian did not have what it takes to beat the Spaniard in the big match. The 38-year-old seemed exhausted and was out of answers for Alcaraz's reletless attack, who moved well around the court compared to the veteran.

For the first time since 2017, Djokovic failed to qualify for the final of a Grand Slam in a year. On the other hand, Auger-Aliassime gave a better fight for Sinner. While the Italian had an easy 6-1 win in the first set, the Candian won the second set 6-3 to make a comeback. What followed was Sinner's domination for the rest of the match.
Tennis world embraces yet another Alcaraz-Sinner final
The World No.1 star won the last two sets 6-3 and 6-4 to win the match. In the process, he ensured a third consecutive Alcaraz-Sinner final in the Grand Slams in 2025. The two faced each other in the French Open final, which turned out to be an epic 5-setter encounter.

While the Spaniard won in Paris, Sinner returned at Wimbledon and clinched his first Grand Slam win outside of the Hard Courts. The duo had also met at the Cincinnati Open final. However, Sinner gave up due to illness. They will go at each other in the final of the last Grand Slam of the year.
