Why did AEW Dynamite take place on Tuesday night instead of Wednesday night?

The latest episode of AEW Dynamite took place on Tuesday night instead of Wednesday night. The reason behind it was some of the major matches like the MLB Playoffs. Despite the preponement of the event, there was no shortage of excitement from the fans as they geared up for some of the top segments and matches. Tony Khan had earlier revealed the reason behind the show happening on a Tuesday night.

The AEW Bodd took to X and claimed that the upcoming PLE of the promotion, WrestleDream, will be on Saturday. He claimed the week to be unusual as Dynamite was on Tuesday night, not Wednesday night. He requested the fans to remind their close on to remind that the show is on Tuesday, not on Wednesday.

"AEW Wrestledream on PPV this Saturday! This is an unusual week of AEW with no Wednesday TV, we have Title Tuesday #AEWDynamite TOMORROW on TBS! The friendly challenge to everyone: please do something outside your routine to remind yourself + friends that AEW's on Tuesday TOMORROW!" wrote Tony Khan on X.

As a result of the postponement, there were a lot of consequences for the company. It had to clash with WWE's NXT and the number of TV viewers was less due to a lack of information for the fans. The stadium saw a lot of empty stands which were pointed by the fans. Some of them trolled AEW to be All Empty Wrestling.

Keeping in mind all the challenges, Tony appreciated everyone who turned up and ensured the show ran well. He praised the AEW team for putting on the show well. The fans hoped the next week of the episode to resort to Wednesday night.
