Almost immediately as the contest begins, Santana hits the Three Amigos. The audience adored it. Ali focused on the arm Mike Santana utilized to do his Spin The Block finishing, hitting a large high area from the ring to the floor. Ali then makes a submission that is aimed at Santana's same arm. Santana breaks the grip by reaching the ropes. In a Randy Orton-style surprise knockout, Santana ends up countering Ali in midair from the floor with a massive cutter.

Mustafa Ali beats Mike Santana

Ali gave the harsh floor a hefty thump as he descended. The Great Hands hit the ring because Santana is still dominating the action. Santana manages them with ease. He has a Buck-150 and has Ali down and out. To divert Santana's attention, Steelz jumps on the ring apron. She smacks him. Holding the ropes, Ali rolls him up. It is not visible to the referee. Ali prevails. Ali takes a fan's cup of beer after the match, sits on the ring apron, and smiles evilly.

Ali is taking things personally by casting doubt on Santana's capacity to run the organization and his history of battles with addiction. Both men want a chance at the TNA World Championship. As a result, supporters may anticipate a fierce contest between the two.
