WATCH: Mark Henry predicts new plot twist in Bloodline story

WWE saw Roman Reigns make his first return to Smackdown post his title loss to Cody Rhodes. On his return to the blue brand, Roman Reigns cleaned house as he attacked the New Bloodline members Solo Sikoa, Tanga Loa, and Tama Tonga. Former WWE champion Mark Henry feels that there could be yet another twist in the works. 

While speaking to the Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry said, “We didn’t see Jacob Fatu come and help when Roman Reigns came down due to his injury. We didn’t see Jacob Fatu last night when Roman Reigns came down.”

There is widespread debate about the legitimacy of the injury suffered by Jacob Fatu during WWE SummerSlam 2024. The man who is called the Samoan Werewolf went for a splash on Cody Rhodes on top of the table and seemingly hurt his leg. While many fans felt the injury was legitimate there are whispers that WWE is working an angle. 

Mark Henry predicts huge plot twist 

According to Mark Henry, speaking on Busted Open Radio, there could be a huge plot twist in the works. With the Bloodline Civil War looming the injury angle for Jacob Fatu could be to turn the entire storyline around. 

Mark Henry said, “What if? Roman has got to Jacob and they show up and it looks like you know Roman is going to end up standing across from Solo and then Jacob’s music hits and Jacob comes to the ring and he stands next to Solo.”

The former WWE and AEW star said, “They start to close in on Roman and Jacob puts his hands on Solo ‘I Got This’ and then he starts walking nose to nose with Roman.”

The return of Roman Reigns has opened up new avenues and possibilities with the Bloodline storyline. There are reports that Jimmy and Jey Uso could also make a comeback to the group. The addition of Sami Zayn is also a possibility as he was part of the group during their memorable run. 

Roman Reigns made his return to WWE during the SummerSlam 2024 event where he went after Solo Sikoa. Fans came unglued as soon as the music hit and Reigns hit a Superman Punch followed by his spear and put his finger up in the air. The former champion also came up with a T-Shirt reading OTC which roughly translates to Original Tribal Chief.
