Trick Williams retains his WWE NXT title at Deadline 2024

There was a lot riding on this match, and Trick Williams wanted to maintain his dominance after he destroyed Ridge Holland. In order to secure his championship bout against Trick Williams, Ridge Holland thrashed Chase U. Trick Williams successfully defended his NXT Championship against Ridge Holland at WWE NXT Deadline 2024, held on Saturday, December 7, at The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In a fierce struggle, Williams overcame a pre-match injury scare to win the title in the event, which included a number of high-stakes matches. Holland defeated Andre Chase on the condition that the Chase U stable would be destroyed if he didn't win. A #1 contender for Trick Williams' NXT Title was there during the whole bout, which made it extra intense. Holland continued, in his heel form, to ridicule the stable's split.

Following the NXT Tag Team Title fight, Trick Williams and Ridge Holland squared off at Deadline, with their bout ending second to last in the evening. Trick Williams gets more powerful in NXT

At Deadline, Williams successfully defended his championship, solidifying his role as the face of NXT. He recovered the title from Ethan Page in October, and this triumph is the latest in his remarkable second stint as NXT Champion. Williams keeps gaining ground and solidifying his position as NXT's dominant power with this win.
