Powerhouse Hobbs gave an update regarding his injury through a social media post. The AEW Star sustained an injury on the 24th of April and has been out of action since then. After joining the Don Callis family, his career has been on the rise. His feud against the likes of Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley has been praiseworthy. When fit, his in-ring work is matched by only a few.

The mighty wrestler had earned himself a title shot against Jon Moxley for the IGPW Championship. However, he could not win the match and sustained an injury in the process. Hobbs took to Instagram and posted an update regarding his injury. He wrote that the first week of the PT was done thanks to the USC legend and added that despite the ups and downs, he is battling through.

"First week of PT done with the USC legend @RNA_sports had some ups and downs but still battled through and crushed my goals," wrote Hobbs. In a recent interview, Lex Luger spoke about the finisher who inspired him, which is used by Hobbs. Luger claimed that Hobbs is good and he likes him. Luger claimed that Hobbs got his number from the legendary Sting.

'It always got a rating in the 2K games' - Lex Luger

Lex said that Hobbs asked him if he could use his finisher. Lex said that he had no problem with Hobbs using his finisher and added that he did not have to ask for it. Luger claimed that only a part of his finisher was used by Hobbs and hence felt it not be a total inspiration. Lex felt happy that the finisher had good ratings in the 2k24 games.

"'Absolutely!' I'm like, 'Man, rack 'em up'. So he's used a little bit. So I don't consider it my move; it's like a great finisher! It always got a rating in the 2K games, [and] still does. When you get a guy up there, it's match-over. It's a great finish!" said Luger in the interview about the finisher from Hobbs.
