Bobby Lashley explained the conversations he had with MVP and Edge that led him to switch from WWE to AEW. The Almighty claimed Edge gave some valuable points about AEW, which influenced his switch from WWE. Bobby said he did not want to end his career as an injured wrestler and hence decided to switch to AEW.

Bobby said Hurt Business was the reason behind him not retiring despite suffering an injury. Bobby explained that he got injured in Spain even before his contract with WWE came to an end. Lashley said he did not want to retire while being injured. He wished to take Hurt Business to a new level before retiring.

"Having the ability to run the Hurt Business and to keep going and to really end my career the right way? I got injured in Spain before my contract was up in WWE, and that was not the way I wanted to end my career," said Bobby in the interview.

'Edge really made some good points' - Bobby Lashley

Lashley added that he had conversations with three important individuals before making a switch from AEW to WWE. Apart from the Hurt Syndicate members like MVP and Shelton Benjamin, Bobby also spoke to his old friend Edge. He said the star wrestler impacted his decision to switch from WWE to AEW.

"I spoke to Edge; also, I spoke to MVP, of course, and Shelton kinda’ talked about it," added Bobby in the interview. Lashley claimed that Edge gave good feedback about wrestling in AEW. Lashley revealed Edge loved to be a wrestler in AEW and felt special about it. He said it was something that touched him.

"When I talked to Edge, Edge really, really made some good points, and he just told me how much he loved it over there, and that was a big thing for me," Bobby concluded. The Almighty has had a good time in AEW so far. He made his debut a couple of months ago and has beaten Swerve Strickland.
