Adam Copeland defeated Malakai Black in a gruelling match. The TNT Champion successfully defended his title and showed why he has still got a lot in him as a wrestler. The Rated R Superstar would not have defended his title if not for a bit of assistance from Gangrel who returned to company for the first time in months. The crowd went mad in the arena for the match.

Adam came to the arena with his unique South of Heaven entrance. The commentators and the fans were a bit surprised with it. But in WWE, Copeland used to come up with similar antics when he was against the evil forces. It showed his adaptability and work in different roles when needed. The entrance of Adam was great to see.

The entire feud has revolved around the mind games. The match involved such tricks too. Malakai Black got over the head of Copeland and tried to win the mental battle. With the help of his partner, the House of Black dominated the first half of the match. Things seemed to be going out of hands for the TNT Champion. He needed a massive turnaround to defend the title.

Gangrel to Adam Copeland's rescue

Adam tried his best to stay alive in the match. It was a blood bath as promised by Adam. The numbers game just caught Copeland and he looked helpless. Malakai had an upper hand and aimed to claim a win. Just when it seemed like things were going downhill for the TNT Champion, in came Gangrel for his music which was followed by a good pop.

The House of Black did not expect it to happen. They were shocked by the entry if Gangrel. The latter evened out the odds and helped Adam to return to the match. The Rated R Superstar recovered himself and took on Malakai. In the barbed wire steel cage match, Adam claimed a win via submission, thanks to his barbed wire arm-trap cross face. Malakai had no option but to tap out.
