The Pro Kabaddi League is one of the most highly followed sports leagues in India. Before the pandemic, it was touted to be a league that could become a major sensation in India and change the sport forever. While the league has fallen and hasn't been able to meet the expectations, it continues to remain the most competitive Kabaddi tournament in the world.

It is one of the most difficult tournaments to win, and hence, not many teams have won it multiple times. However, three teams have won the PKL on more than one occasion. While many other teams had the chance to join the elite league of teams, they fell short. In the upcoming seasons, things could change in that regard. As of 2025, two teams have won the PKL twice, and one team has won it thrice.

3 teams that have won the Pro Kabaddi League in multiple instances

Dabang Delhi

Dabang Delhi became the latest team to join the elite league of teams to have won the PKL more than once. Their first win came in the 8th edition of the league when they beat the Patna Pirates 37-36 in the most thrilling PKL final of all time. Joginder Narwal's men beat the team led by Prashanth Kumar Rai, which was dominant in the group stage.

Their second title win came in the latest 12th edition of the tournament. Led by Ashu Malik, the season 8 champions pulled off their second title win by beating Puneri Paltan 31-28 in the final. Malik's men had the last laugh over Aslam Inamdar's team.

Jaipur Pink Panthers

Jaipur Pink Panthers became the second team to join the elite league of teams to have won the PKL more than once. Their first win came in the inaugural edition of the league when they beat U Mumba 35-24 in the final. JNavneet Gautam's men beat the team led by Anup Kumar.

Their second title win came in the 9th edition of the tournament. Led by Sunil Kumar, the inaugural edition winners pulled off their second title win by beating Puneri Paltan 33-29 in the final. Sunil's men had the last laugh over Fazel Atrachali's team. 

Patna Pirates

Patna Pirates is the first and only team to have won the PKL thrice. They are also the only team to have won the title in three successive seasons. Their first win came in the third edition of the tournament under the leadership of Manpreet Singh. The Pirates won the final 31-28 against Anup Kumar's U Mumba.

In the very following edition, the Pirates had a more dominating performance. They won the final 37-29 against the Jaipur Pink Panthers, which was led by Jasvir Singh. In the fifth edition, the Patna Pirates put up the most dominating performance in the final, winning it 55-38 against the Gujarat Fortune Giants. Their three winning captains were Manpreet Singh, Dharmaraj Cheralathan, and Pardeep Narwal.
