Declan Rice recently posted a reflection on his Twitter profile, indicating that in life, it is sometimes necessary to experience loss in order to achieve victory. This perspective is relevant not only in sports but also in areas of personal and professional development.

Declan Rice recognised the importance of getting over setbacks to be strong mentally. His advice comes at a time when his side faced a heartbreak in the UCL semis.

"In life, in general, sometimes you have to lose a few in order to win. You have to overcome setbacks to mentally grow, as a person, as a player, and as a group – and we’re going through that.” Rice said.

Earlier, Arsenal visited Parc des Princes to face a formidable Paris Saint-Germain. Paris Saint-Germain held a slender 1-0 victory at the Emirates. Although the Gunners maintained more possession, took more shots and looked more threatening in their attacks, it was Paris Saint-Germain who were more clinical with their finishes. The team buried most of its chances. In the second leg, Fabian Ruiz scored the opener in the 27th minute. Achraf Hakimi scored the second for PSG in the 72nd minute. Bukayo Saka brought one back for Arsenal in the 76th minute with his strike. But it was too little, too late for Arsenal as they succumbed to a 3-1 loss.

Arsenal will end the season without any silverware, having already lost domestic tournaments and the Premier League.
