Jude Bellingham, midfielder for Real Madrid, will be eligible for the team's Champions League opener this week after missing a month due to a muscular ailment. Bellingham hasn't played since August 18, when Madrid played their first La Liga match against Mallorca. A few days later, he experienced a muscular ailment in his right leg during his training.

Since then, the England international has missed four La Liga games in addition to earlier this month's UEFA Nations League matches. Jude Bellingham acknowledged that the physical setback was his body's way of urging him to take a vacation following a demanding first year in Spain and the summer of 2024 at Euro, missing the preseason and beginning 2024–25 with little time off.

His leg problem was predicted to reappear in the middle of September following the international break, and it looks like that prediction was correct. Jude Bellingham may play against Stuttgart on Tuesday after training as usual on Monday, according to AS, with no problems or restrictions.

Other players are getting fit for the match

It will be up to Carlo Ancelotti to decide whether he starts the game right away. Aurelien Tchouameni, who has bounced back from his own injury issue, has advantages as well, but he might not be able to start right away. Eder Militao is one who is anticipated to start; he was deemed "100%" ready after leaving Brazil's international squad.

Given that David Alaba is still injured, the center-back will probably start at the back with Antonio Rudiger, which would relieve Ancelotti's workload. With teams being given eight "league phase" opponents as they compete for spots in the 36-team rankings, Madrid will be looking to get off to a fast start in the restructured Champions League.

The top eight move directly to the round of sixteen, while the top 24 go to the knockout stages. While new signing Kylian Mbappe, will be playing his first UEFA Champions League game for Real Madrid.
