'We are waiting for Man City'- Gabriel Magalhaes calls out Premier League champions after their recent clash

Gabriel Magalhaes confidently stated that Arsenal will be ready and waiting for Manchester City at the Emirates in the return fixture of the Premier League. Despite being reduced to 10 men, Arsenal came close to securing a remarkable victory against Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday. 

The Tale of the previous Fixture 

Manchester City started in a dominating fashion and seized the lead within the opening 10 minutes as Erling Haaland scored his 100th goal for the English champions in just 105 appearances.

In the first half, the game took a turn when Rodri getting injured, allowing Arsenal to equalize with a beautiful header from Gabriel Magalhaes. Arsenal then had taken the lead, but Leandro Trossard's booking had him out of action for the day, changing the situation of the match.

The second half saw relentless pressure from Manchester City, with the ball rarely leaving the edge of the Arsenal penalty area. Despite several close calls and saves from David Raya, City finally scored in the 98th minute. John Stones capitalized on a chaotic sequence in the penalty area, tapping in a goal after a cross from Jack Grealish.

Gabriel called out Manchester City 

Arsenal's centre-back Gabriel had confrontations with City players, particularly Erling Haaland, who was seen throwing the ball at the Brazilian after Stones scored the equalizer.

In an interview with Johncrossminor, the Brazilian defender called out the entire team of Manchester City stating that the Gunners are awaiting them at their home ground in the reverse Fixture. Gabriel asserted that he forgot what Halland did in the entire yet congratulated him and his team on managing to secure a point. He also emphasized battle, war and provocation to be part of the game and should be normalised.

“We are waiting for Man City at our ground, Haaland? I don’t remember what he did. It’s normal. But anyway, congratulations." - Gabriel said. “Battle, war, provocation is normal and it's also part of the game”.- he said via John Cross of the Mirror.
