After Chelsea failed to secure the services of the wonderkid defender, Pedro Lima, Wolves have announced the signing of the Brazilian. Lima appeared to be the newest member of the Blues' plan to add young players to their roster with the intention of flipping them for a profit. This is part of their transfer strategy.
There was a verbal agreement among the 18-year-old and Chelsea, but Wolves pulled out at the last minute, taking a savage jab at the Blues in an official statement. Matheus Cunha, another Brazilian who may have been involved in the transaction, was the focal point of Wolves' film.
A communication from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Chelsea's attempt for Lima was displayed on a computer screen during the 58-second film that was posted to X. It was presented as though it was from Cunha's perspective. However, the individual posting mutely later saw Lima walk through the office door.
The sporting director of the club spoke in an official statement announcing the signing. He said, "I'm really happy we've been able to add Pedro to the first-team squad. There was lots of competition for him, but we've been working on bringing him to Wolves for a while now, and he's fully invested in our project.

โHe has a bright futureโ : Matheus Cunha
Lima was certain to land at Stamford Bridge, but Cunha alerted Chelsea to the possibility of a move to Wolves during the negotiations. The Wolverhampton Wanderers forward spoke to Brazilian news outlet Globo Esporte.ย
He said, "Pedro Lima is a talent, he has a bright future. He is from Paraiba who comes to Recife and has a very similar story to me. I wish him the best. I wanted him to be playing with me because I think Wolves were also interested. But he made his decision, Chelsea is a great club and I hope he plays and I hope to play against him often."
