Peter Sarr trembles in anxiety before wild celebrations
In a video that has gone viral across social media platforms, Tottenham star Peter Sarr was seen trembling with anxiety in the final few moments of extra time. The footballer put his head down on his legs while turning his back to the football pitch where the final actions unfolded. Under extreme anxiety, the player can be observed praying for his team's success with closed eyes while a member of the management team comforted him. Seconds later, as soon as the referee blew the final whistle, the player erupted in joy, as he couldn't hold back his celebrations and started running wildly on the pitch with his hands surging in the air out of pure joy.
Pape Matar Sarr also contributed to the team's victory by assisting Brennan Johnson's goal, which ultimately proved to be the title decider. The Senegalese was substituted in the final moments of the fixture. The midfielder played for 89 minutes before making his way to the dugout.
The victory ensured Tottenham Hotspur's qualification to the UEFA Champions League next season. Despite sitting at the 17th spot in the Premier League standings, Tottenham Hotspur played with great grit during the Europa League and finally brought European glory to the club.
