Three years ago today, Lionel Messi left Barcelona and his life changed. He won Copa America with Argentina his first trophy with the national team then he won finalissima and the biggest trophy in his life his long-awaited dream FIFA World Cup. In 2021 Lionel Messi left Barcelona. This exploded the internet as due to financial problems in Barcelona he had to leave his childhood club. 

Three years before joining Inter Miami Lionel Messi was part of Barcelona but in 2021 due to financial problems and his high wages FC Barcelona couldn’t afford him. Lionel Messi joined Barcelona at the age of 13 and was a product of La M. Lionel Messi made his debut for Barcelona FC under the coach Pep Guardiola. Since then, Lionel Messi has spent 21 years with Barcelona and scored 682 goals in 778 appearances across all tournaments. With Barcelona, he had 11 La Liga titles and won four UEFA Champions League and other major trophies. 

Barcelona held a press conference for his farewell. During the time of his speech, he was greeted by a long-standing ovation from his teammates, coaches and media and ahead of his speech he couldn’t control himself and broke down in tears.

Lionel Messi's life after leaving Barcelona

In 2023 World Cup winner Lionel Messi joined David Beckham-owned club Inter Miami. During the match against New York Red Bulls many celebrities, actors etc were present to watch the little magician play. The fans presented in the stadium started to cheer to see their new signing play. During the 60th minute of the match, Lionel Messi stepped up into the match and made his debut against New York Red Bulls and he scored a goal as the team won the match by score of 2-0. During his first season with Inter Miami, he led the club to their first title as Inter Miami won the League Cup by defeating Nashville SC on penalties.
