In the league stage of this season's UEFA Champions League, Barcelona was on their way to winning three straight games. Hansi Flick's team led 2-1 at the break, but they ended up scoring twice inside four minutes to enlarge their lead against Crvena Zvezda.
Despite an equalizer from Silas Katompa Mvumpa, Barcelona led 1-0 at halftime thanks to Robert Lewandowski after Inigo Martinez opened the scoring. After a fantastic cross from Jules Kounde, Lewandowski scored seven minutes through the second half to make it 3-1.
Raphinha added his own goal to the tally three minutes after Lewandowski's second of the night. Once more, Jules Kounde had been the source as the Brazilian forward drove home his cutback. Hansi Flick will be happy with his team's performance in Belgrade following an unimpressive second half against Espanyol on Sunday.
Bromance between Raphinha and Lamine Yamal grows on!
To honor his young colleague Lamine Yamal's accomplishment of receiving the Kopa Trophy, which is given to the finest young player, Raphinha chose to give him a lovely present. The gesture that Raphinha made to Lamine Yamal is a great example of FC's team spirit, which seems to be stronger than ever.
In honor of the 17-year-old prodigy's Kopa Trophy victory, Raphinha gave Yamal a customized gold iPhone made by the upscale company iDesign Gold. Featuring Yamal's name and his jersey number, 19, this symbolic gift symbolizes much more than simply a priceless possession; it represents the regard and encouragement of a seasoned player for a budding international football star.
