The Brazilian player contacted I Design Gold, a company renowned for designing luxury items for football icons such as Ronaldinho, Rodri, and Lionel Messi. Notably, Messi commissioned an entire collection of golden iPhones following Argentina's World Cup victory in Qatar. 

The video demonstrates that Barcelona's young sensation appreciated the gift from his captain as he appeared surprised and emotional. 

Raphina's take on Yamal

Barcelona forward Raphinha praised his teammate and emerging talent Lamine Yamal, describing him as 'one of the best in the world.' The Brazilian expressed a strong admiration for the 17-year-old, who has been impressive in recent matches and has garnered significant attention in the football community due to his dynamic performances.

Raphinha himself has been a key contributor to the team’s success during this exciting new chapter under manager Hansi Flick. His remarkable form has seen him achieve 10 goals this season so far.

Yamal has made an impressive start to the 2024-25 season, contributing six goals and seven assists in 14 matches across all competitions. He has built a strong attacking partnership with Raphinha and Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, playing a key role in propelling Barcelona to the top of La Liga.
