Neymar's play is getting better with each game, and he has started his second stint at Santos well. In the Campeonato Paulista's 12th-round matchup with Inter de Limeira, Neymar scored his first Olympic goal with a spectacular corner kick. Santos, who were thought to be the match's favourites, immediately seized the lead after Neymar's excellent corner kick in the eighth minute.

The first goal was scored by Tiquinho Soares after the ball found him. The booing abruptly stopped and the sound of Santos supporters yelling with joy took its place. As the ball struck the net, Neymar sat on a nearby advertising hoarding, crossed his arms, and then gave a cheeky shrug of his shoulders.

This celebration was similar to Cristiano Ronaldo's celebration when the Portugal star was at Real Madrid. During the Atletico Madrid game in UEFA Champions League Ronaldo sat on an advertising hoarding. Neymar made his sixth appearance for Santos after returning to his childhood team on January 30 after playing for Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League. Neymar's masterwork doubled Santos' advantage, which had previously been established by a goal from Tiquinho Soares.

Soon after, Tiquinho scored once again to give coach Pedro Caixinha's team a fantastic first half. This victory strengthens the Santos team's dominant performance in the competition and keeps them atop Group B in the state championship. Last weekend, he scored a penalty kick in a 3-1 victory over Agua Santa at home, giving him two goals in his second stint with Santos.

Neymar putting strong performance

Neymar left Brazil for Barcelona after scoring 136 goals for Santos as a senior from 2009 to 2013. With speculation that he would return to Europe or join MLS and Inter Miami, where Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez now play, Neymar's future is still uncertain. He still has a lot to contribute, though, as seen by his current relationship with Santos. He demonstrated that his return to Brazil was not just a media spectacle but also a football show with his performance against Internacional de Limeira.
