Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr lost to Al-Hilal in the King's Cup Final, as the Middle East club once again failed to win silverware for the second consecutive season. After the match, the 39-year-old footballer was seen in tears and left heartbroken after his side lost the final in the penalties. The striker yet again failed to find the back of the net against the Saudi Pro League champions. This was the 5th time he failed to score against the side. 

However during and after the game, the Al-Hilal fans were seen chanting 'Messi, Messi, Messi' in front of the footballer when he went to collect his runners-up medal, and Neymar who has been out injured for almost several months was spotted in the stadium supporting his team. As the fans continued to chant the name of the Argentine captain, the reaction of the Brazilian was hilarious as he was seen laughing.

The 32-year-old footballer has been one of the closest friends of the 2022 World Cup winner, since FC Barcelona days, as both of them along with Luis Suarez made one of the most deadly attacking trio of all time. The three have good friends over the years and have immense respect towards each other. The trio has left Europe and plays in the Middle East and America.

Over the years Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo had the greatest ever rivalry in world football's history. Both the footballers have dominated for 15 years in the stage of the top tier football and as they grow older the most decorated footballers in the history of the game are near the fans also expect them to win major silverware before they finally hang up their boots.
