The star forward currently plays at Al Nassr and few days back has scored two consecutive hattricks. The former Los Blancos left-back has revealed a shocking fact about their UEFA Champions League (UCL) quarter-final game against Bayern Munich in 2016-17. On the podcast named 'PodPah', he discussed one of the best partnership with the forward that defined Real Madrid's future in the Champions League.

He revealed on the talk show that the goal scored by CR7 was offside. The assist was give by the full-back gave the striker in extra time in the very same quarter-finals. The goal was a clear offside but it was given by the referee and there was a lot of contoversy that ignited after the goal.

The defender explained that he "could have shot" but that "you see Cristiano next to you..." and handed the ball to him to score the goal that secured Real Madrid's semi-final spot. Marcelo dribbled through the middle, got past the entire defence line of the Bavarians, and instead of shooting, he passed the ball to Cristiano on his right for a tap in. The goal by the former Madrid forward made the score 3-2 in a match that would end 4-2 in favour of Real Madrid and they won the UCL the same season as well. 

The 35-year-old came in as a teenager and left the club as a legend winning 5 Champions League, 6 La Liga titles and many more trophies with the historic club. He currently plays in Brazil for Fluminense FC.
