Bukayo Saka’s international teammate and English footballer Luke Shaw took a dig at Saka’s match-saving goal against Switzerland in the UEFA Euro 2024 quarter-final. Shaw who is also a star defender for Manchester United said that he has seen this type of goal before as well.
Both Saka and Shaw were seen in the latest episode of Lions’ Den on England’s official YouTube Channel where both were seen indulging in a funny conversation. Saka’s goal was shown on the screen after which Shaw was heard saying, “It's not the first time we've seen it. I've seen it close and personal.”

England to face Netherlands in the semi-final
England clashed against Switzerland in the UEFA Euro 2024 quarter-final. The Swiss side were ahead 1-0 before Saka’s magnificent equaliser in the 75th minute of the game and helped Gareth Southgate’s side to make a brilliant comeback in the game.
The goal came from outside the box which makes it extraordinary for a reason. The match then went to the penalty shootout where the English side managed to register the win 5-3. Saka also scored in the penalty shootout and avenged his Euro 2020 miss.

England will now face the Netherlands in the semi-final on July 11 and will look to secure the final spot. The first semi-final will be between Spain and France which will take place on July 10. All four teams are the giants of Football and will try to give their all to win the cup.
