WATCH: KSI request Erling Haaland to use his star move in goal celebration

With the setting of the New Premier League season, Manchester City were dominating the scene. On Saturday, the match against the newly promoted club Ipswich Town Manchester City won the game by 4-1 as star striker Erling Haaland took charge of the attack and scored his hat-trick while his teammate Kevin de Bryune also scored a goal to seal the game with the win. 

As the game started Ipswich Town shocked the regaining Premier League champions Manchester City as Sammie Szmodics scored a goal into the net in the 7^th minute of the match. In the 12^th minute of the game, Erling Haaland got a penalty chance which he didn’t miss and levelled the game for Manchester City. Just two minutes later Kevin de Bruyne took the opportunity that he had with Arijanet Muric goalkeeper of Isphwich Town, as he made a mistake. Kevin de Bruyne didn’t fail to score the goal as Manchester City were leading the game by 2-1. 

After scoring his second and Manchester City's third goal of the game Erling Haaland circled Arijanet Muric and poked in from a close angle on the half-volley. He then proceeded to the away fans' section to start an odd-looking routine. He started to punch the corner flag after making a star-jumping gesture with his arms.

Erling Haaland is an ambassador for PRIME drink

Perhaps the most overjoyed person to watch that would have been YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI, who had asked Haaland to do the celebration in one of his videos. On August 24, 2024, KSI published a video of his chat with Haaland on his X account. In it, KSI can be heard detailing his characteristic fighting posture, which consists of lifting his arms up and down on his side in a "jumping jack" action.

Since Haaland agreed to represent the 31-year-old as an ambassador for his sports hydration drink, PRIME, the two have been known to work together. Meanwhile, Manchester City's next Premier League is against West Ham United on 31^st August. Currently, Manchester City are table toppers as they have won two consecutive games.
