The winger made an impressive solo run, dribbling and foxing 4 Aston Villa defenders and then netting a stunner with his right foot past golden glove winner Emiliano Martinez.
The 49th-minute strike helped Paris Saint-Germain claim an important home victory before heading away to Villa Park next week.
Doune and Nuno Mendis also found their names on the scoresheet by the end of the week. Rogers scored the only goal for Aston Villa in the 35th minute.
