FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have an intense rivalry over the years. The two Spanish clubs have been the most dominating side in the Spanish leagues. The two clubs' rivalry have been named 'El Clasico', in recent times the fight between the sides has calmed down a little bit as during the time of late 2000s there were big fights among the footballers and the coaches as well.

The Los Blancos on Saturday won their 15th UEFA Champions League beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at the Wembley Stadium. After their win former Barcelona full-back Jordi Alba dropped a shocking comment about the defending UCL champions. A reporter asked to share his thoughts on the rival club's UCL victory and replying to the same he commented that he does not have any interest in the club.

Alba was a part of the 2015 squad that last won the UCL for the Catalonian side and the same season they won five trophies and were on the verge of winning the sextuple in the same year, but fell short by a whisker after being denied by Athletic Club in the Supercopa de Espana. Since then the club is yet to win the marquee European trophy and failed in the knockout stages in the semi, quarter and the RO16 as well.
