FC Barcelona clean swept Real Madrid this season, following victory in the fourth and final El Clásico of the season. FC Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 4-3 in the La Liga reverse fixture.
The hosts humiliated the defending La Liga champions at Estdi Olímpic Lluís Companys after staging an incredible comeback in the first half despite being robbed by the referees on multiple occasions. The victory propelled Barcelona's chances of winning the Laliga this season.

The match started on a bad note for Barcelona as Kylian Mbappe had scored two goals by the 21st minute. However, Barcelona found its momentum back in the game as Eric Garcia converted from a corner kick in the 19th minute. What followed was a tale of Barcelona's unreal dominance as the hosts exploited Real Madrid's poor defence to get a 4-2 lead by half time. Lamine Yamal and Raphinha were among the scorers. Kylian Mbappe pulled one back as he completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute. However, Barcelona maintained composure to win the final El-Classico of the season.
The match was marred with controversies, especially in light of the poor refereeing decisions that were all against the hosts. One of the standouts among half a dozen incidents that took place was the case of Fermín López. Lopez scored a brilliant solo goal, but it as disallowed due to 'handball'. Even the referee was caught uttering 'thank goodness' while checking the VAR as reported by sources.

After the match, Barcelona players indulged in wild celebrations. The entire team danced together to celebrate their fourth victory of the season against their arch rivals Real Madrid. The victory ensured Barcelona move a step closer to their target of domestic treble this season.
