WATCH: Famous Youtuber Ishowspeed denied to meet Cristiano Ronaldo after Portugal's win in UEFA Euro 2024

Cristiano Ronaldo is an icon in football and outside the game as well. He has a massive fan following across the globe. The 39-year-old Portuguese footballer is currently featured in the ongoing UEFA Euro 2024 for the nation and this is his sixth appearance in the major tournament as he made a record by becoming the first footballer to achieve the landmark. His side won their opening game 2-1 against Czech Republic. 

After the game famous Youtube content creator Ishowspeed who is an ardent fan of the Portugal superstar has been often spotted watching his matches from the stadium. Speed became popular because of his hilarious reaction content and eccentric behaviour, people are also quite familiar with his craze for football. He met the former Manchester United footballer in 2023in Lisbon during the Portugal vs Bosnia and Herzegovina Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The Youtuber was also present at last night's game at the Red Bull Arena, Leipzig and after the game, he tried to meet with his idol, however, he was denied to meet the forward, and as per the speculations someone in the Portuguese team asked for him to be removed.

Portugal wins it in added time

Portugal made a comeback after they were trailing in the game with the underdogs scoring first in the game through Lukas Provod who broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute of the game. A few minutes later an easy cross which was dealt well by the Czech goalkeeper hit his defender's leg while he punched the ball away and went in as an own goal. Diogo Jota scored another goal but his goal was ruled out because of their captain being offside in the first instance while he headed the ball. 

Later on in the last two minutes of the added time when a cross from substitute Pedro Neto was met by Francisco Conceicao winning the game for the side. However, the favourites did not play as per the expectations and will be looking to improve from their mistakes for the next game against Turkey.
