Cristiano Ronaldo's 'sleeping' gesture for his teammates

Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his frustration towards his Al-Nassr teammates with a sleeping gesture after they squandered a two-goal lead. The Portuguese superstar seemed primed to celebrate a crucial victory over arch-rivals Al-Ittihad, having witnessed Sadio Mane and Ayman Yahya score in the third and 37th minutes, respectively.

Cristiano Ronaldo's former Los Blancos teammate Karim Benzema brought Al-Ittihad back into the game with his strike in the 49th minute. Three minutes later, former Chelsea star N'Golo Kanté equalised for his team. The goal infuriated Cristiano Ronaldo as he walked back to the halfway line for kick-off. Things turned wild for Al-Ittihad when Houssem Aouar scored the goalazo in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Cristiano Ronaldo flung his hands in the air in frustration, asserting that the entire team just 'slept' after taking the lead before half-time.

The Portuguese legend is still looking to add his maiden trophy from his stint in Saudi Arabia. On the personal side of things, the all-time top goal scorer in the history of the sport is just three goals shy of netting 100 goals for Al-Nassr. He is currently the top scorer in this season of the Saudi Pro League with 23 goals.
