The captain of the Morocco Olympic National team, Achraf Hakimi was seen driving the team bus from training. One of the fans captured the team bus going to the hotel from their training and was shocked to see the skipper behind the driver’s seat. It was hard to capture a good image of the Paris Saint-Germain superstar as the bus was going at a good speed.

There have been many instances of players doing unusual things and this is certainly one of them. This sort of act also shows team spirit amongst the Moroccon team after a great win against the favourites of the competition, Argentina. The team now faces Ukraine tomorrow and a win would guarantee them a place in the knockout stages of the football competition at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Morocco scrape past Argentina in opening game of Paris Olympics 2024

When the full-time whistle blew, the Argentina vs. Morocco football match in group B had to be played behind closed doors, making the opening match at the Paris Olympics 2024 controversial. Due to fan invasions and other chaotic stuff the match had to be abruptly stopped.

The match was promptly delayed after the full-time whistle at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint Etienne, as fans swarmed the pitch and threw items at players. The score was 2-2 at the time. The latest information available from the Paris 2024 Olympics site stated that Cristian Medina of Argentina's equaliser in the 90+16th minute had to be disallowed because of an offside in the goal's setup.

Soufiane Rahimi of Morocco has scored twice for the Atlas Lions, once from the spot with a penalty to increase his team's lead and once during the 45+2 minute mark. After Argentina's Giovanni Simeone pulled one back, the La Albiceleste were unable to score again until the 16th minute of injury time, when it appeared that Cristian Medina had tied the score for the gold medal winners of the 2008 Olympics.
