Napoli Striker Victor Osimhen’s move to Paris Saint Germain has hit a snag, The news comes after leading football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had taken to X to write the reason behind a likely collapse of the deal.

According to Romano, PSG does not want to meet the valuation set by Napoli. The Italian side are looking at over 100 Million Euros which the French side does not fancy paying.

Fabrizio Romano wrote, “Victor Osimhen’s priority remains to leave Napoli this summer. Paris Saint-Germain won’t pay the clause and talks are in stand-by at current conditions, no chance to include Kang-in Lee. Osimhen could also consider Saudi League bids, as Napoli want Lukaku to replace him.”

Can Saudi Araba come calling for Victor Osimhen?

Saudi Arabia could be a viable option for Victor Osimhen as the Napoli striker could be paid huge weekly wages. Some top football stars are currently playing in the league including Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr.

This has also given the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea a chance to go for the Napoli striker. Manchester United in particular are looking to strengthen their team ahead of the new season. Chelsea too are looking for a new striker as Romelu Lukaku is set to move to Napoli on a permanent deal.

Former Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho had earlier made a huge statement about Victor Osimhen. “He is of the same level as Drogba, but Didier didn't dive. If Victor changes, then OK, I'd buy him if I was at a club with a lot of money.”

The current Fenerbache manager also said, "However, if he does go to England one day, he needs to change, because in Italy they put up with this sort of behaviour, whereas in the Premier League, they'd come down hard on him.”

Victor Osimhen has played 108 matches for Napoli and scored 65 goals. He was one of the main reasons why Napoli won the Serie A title after three decades. The Nigerian star is one of the most sought-after players and has a keen eye for goal.
