Manchester City manger Pep Guardiola clears rumors about this player's transfer to Saudi Pro League

Football: According to reports, a few days ago Kevin De Bruyne agreed on personal terms with Al-Ittihad and was going to sign a contract soon. Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola finally ended the speculation related to this transfer.

The Scottish Premier League winners Celtic will play the Premier League Champions of the United States this week at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in the team's first warm-up game of the 2024–25 season. 

The majority of the Manchester City players who did not participate at the European Championships or Copa America, such as Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland, are joining Guardiola and his coaching staff in the United States.

Vice-captain Kevin De Bruyne is one player who is not with the team and won't be back on the training field until early August due to his performance for Belgium at Euro 2024 in Germany. Kevin De Bruyne is enjoying a long holiday in Ibiza with his family and various reports started to surface that Kevin De Bruyne is going to leave Manchester City and is going to join Saudi Pro League. 

According to reports, a few days ago Kevin De Bruyne agreed personal terms with Al-Ittihad and was going to sign a contract soon. Meanwhile, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola finally ended the speculation related to this transfer. During the pre-season tour Pep Guardiola said, “No, Kevin (De Bruyne) is not leaving,” as per One Football.

Ederson to leave Manchester City

Kevin De Bruyne will be back on 5th August at City Football Academy to get ready for the FA Community Shield match against their arch-rivals Manchester United. Ahead of the match, Kevin De Bruyne will be fit for the match. For the pre-season tour, Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic will join the squad in New York as they will face AC Milan. 

Meanwhile, Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is also rumoured to join Al Ittihad for 50 or 60 million. However, nothing has been disclosed yet the deal is still in the talking stage. Pep Guardiola is entering the last stage of the contract with Manchester City and will be leaving the club by next year.
