FC Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has been one of the best findings for the club in the ongoing season. The 16-year-old winger has performed exceptionally well in the current season and helped Barca to win some games alone. Yamal is very dangerous with the ball and in 1v1 situations with the defenders with pace. The Spanish winger became the youngest player and goalscorer for Spain, breaking both of Gavi's records who debuted at 17 years.

Yamal in the ongoing season, had scored 6 goals and 7 assists to his name.  Former Atletico Madrid assistant manager Mono Burgos has been sacked from a Spanish TV station after he made a controversial remark about Barcelona winger, during the UEFA Champions League 1st leg of the quarter-finals match between Paris Sanit-Germain and Barca. He was working for Movistar and commented on footage of Yamal doing kick-ups when he remarked. Owing to his comments Barcelona and PSG refused to give interviews to the TV station after the game.

They defeated the French side 3-2 with Raphinha scoring a brace for the side and Andreas Christensen scoring the winning goal in the game. The Blaugranes have dominated the majority of the game playing out in the wing and controlling the midfield. Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha scored for the home side.

Burgos steps down after racial comments

As per the reports the company have subsequently apologised for the comment and promised to take action against Burgos. However, the 54-year-old has chosen for himself that he will stand down from his post at the television firm, with immediate effect. However, it is still not clear whether he resigned or was fired from the company.

Before stepping down he said, "It was a comment made without meaning to hurt anyone. We talk about football, nothing else. If he felt offended, I am sorry and I apologise publicly." Barca next will be up against Cadiz on Sunday, with Xavi's team would like to keep the winning momentum going.
