This summer, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham have all been keen on signing Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze. The 25-year-old had an injury-plagued debut to the 2023–24 season, but he came on in the later stages with a total of nine goal contributions in 11 games.

Gareth Southgate decided to select him in his 26-man team for the European championships because of his late-season form. Spurs were interested in Eze even before that decision was made, although some were more interested in teammate Michael Olise.

But since he decided to sign with Bayern Munich, Eze has drawn interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool. Eze's contract has a release clause, so even if several teams are in the running, it doesn't appear like a bidding war will break out.

According to reporter Simon Phillips' Substack, Arsenal is the team "pushing the most" for Eze, with their pursuit of the midfield player being characterized as "serious." Eze now seems like a real target for the Gunners, who will probably have to fend off attention from multiple teams as they attempt to bolster their midfield this summer. In the transfer race for Eze, Tottenham might have a distinct advantage over their competitors.

Spurs are rumored to be interested in both a flexible wide-forward and a defensive midfielder who can turn the tide in a match. The destiny of Richarlison, who had been an option for the Saudi Pro League, may determine a lot.

Tottenham Hotspur agree terms with Sebastian Szymanski

Tottenham Hotspur and Sebastian Szymanski have reached a personal agreement; they are anticipated to submit a new bid for the Fenerbahce player. Reports state that Tottenham and Sebastian Szymanski, a Polish player, have reached a personal terms agreement. While they still need to work out the specifics with his club, Fenerbahce, the north Londoners have been keeping tabs on the offensive midfielder for some time and may even have put in a bid.

Tottenham is looking to add players to a variety of positions, including offensive midfield. Albert Gudmundsson of Genoa has been pursued by them, and at one point, he seemed to be their primary objective. But since there has been no movement on that front, it's possible they are looking for a less expensive target.
