Arsenal emerged victorious in the North-London Derby on Sunday, defeating Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during their Premier League 2024/25 Matchday 4 fixture, thus securing the Bragging Rights.

The match was intense, with 7 yellow cards being shown in the first half. Gabriel's powerful header in the 64th minute secured the win for Mikel Arteta's team, making him the goal-scoring defender.

An Action-packed First Half

In the first half of the North London Derby, there were several instances where emotions ran high, leading to several yellow cards being issued to both teams. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have had competitive matches in the past, sometimes resulting in disciplinary actions such as yellow and red cards.

In the latest installment of this historic rivalry, Tottenham Hotspur unfortunately set a new record. They received 5 yellow cards in the first half, marking the highest number of yellow cards awarded to a home team in the first half of a Premier League match.
