Toni Fernandez rejects big offer from Juventus

Toni Fernandez was one of several young talents who had the opportunity to train with the Barcelona first squad this summer, overseen by Hansi Flick. The 16-year-old took advantage of the few opportunities he had and has gained the manager's entire trust, even though he will return to play for Barca this season. He was part of the squad of Barcelona during the pre-season tour in the US. 

Toni Fernandez, who turned 16 last month, signed his first professional deal with Barcelona, committing to the club for three years until 2027. However, the teenager might simply swap clubs, since numerous elite teams were interested in obtaining his talents. Juventus is one team that attempted to attract him away from Barcelona, as per reports Italian giants submitted a lucrative contract offer for Fernandez.

Meanwhile, Juventus have offered Toni Fernandez a big deal of 20 million euros and signing him for a four-year deal. The reports state that Juventus approached him twice, first before signing a new contract with Barcelona and second after Barcelona signed which will keep him until 2027.

In both instances, though, Toni Fernandez and his group refused Juventus, indicating that the young player is satisfied at Barcelona and plans to stay there. Toni Fernandez is one of the club's most promising young players, and like his cousin Guille, he is expected to embark on a successful career.

Hansi Flick is monitoring his development closely

The young player may not be too far away from making his formal first-team debut, as Hansi Flick has already expressed his admiration for him and is actively monitoring his development. While Hansi Flick and his team will get ready for the upcoming La Liga season after losing the Joan Gamper Trophy to AS Monaco will have an eye on La Liga as they kick off their La Liga season by facing Valencia on 18th August.
