Arda Güler responds to Szoboszlai's comment

Hungarian captain Dominik Szoboszlai had mocked Turkey's young striker Arda Güler following the conclusion of the UEFA Nations League playoff fixture between Hungary and Turkey. Turkey humbled Hungary with an aggregate 6-1 scoreline to remain in the top division of the Nations League.

Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai was involved in a heated altercation with Turkish youngster Arda Güler during the match. Szoboszlai had a cheap shot at the youngster on an Instagram post by the Hungarian outlet Nemzeti Sport. Arda Güler has now responded back with an answer to Szoboszlai's taunt.

Arda Guller gave a befitting reply to Szoboszlai 

During the match, Arda Güler aimed a 'slushing' gesture at Dominik Szoboszlai after netting a goal for his side. Such behaviour from the youngster caught Dominik off-guard who later took to social media to mock Guler's playing time at Real Madrid. Commenting on an Instagram post after the match, Szoboszlai wrote '1088' referring to the total minutes played by Güler at Santiago Bernabeu since joining the club back in 2023.

The Turkish youngster wasn't the one to hold back as he came up with a befitting reply of his own. Güler took to his Instagram and posted a story in which the Liverpool star was called 'a joke'.

"This guy is a joke. Isn't 6 goals enough to shut you up?" Güler captioned his story.

Arda Güler is a key member of the Galacticos that is still in contention for a treble this season, with aspirations in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League all intact. Meanwhile, Szoboszlai will be looking to help Liverpool clinch the Premier League title after a disappointing round of 16 exit from the UEFA Champions League and loss in the Carabao Cup finals.
