Chelsea FC suffered a 1-0 defeat against Manchester City in the 1st semi-final of the FA Cup at Wembley. The Blues missed some golden chances in the game as they could have sealed the match in the first half of the game. Bernardo Silva broke the deadlock in the 84th minute and that turned out to be the winner of the game as Pep Guardiola's side had the chance to win the double this season.

Thiago Silva was seen in tears after losing the game. As the former club captain have been a rock solid at the back for the side. Silva has been part of the Blues since the 2020 season and won the UEFA Champions League with the side. The Brazilian joined in a free transfer, winning the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup in his second.

The experienced centre-back has given his best at the English Premier League since he joined the club and has been an ex-factor in the back line for the side. After four years at the club, he might be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season. He has played 107 games for the side. Silva's contract at Stamford Bridge is set to expire this summer, and despite getting a one-year extension at the end of the previous season, it is doubtful that this will happen again.

I do have a decision in my mind: Thiago Silva

After the game, while he was caught on camera in tears, he confirmed that he might leave England. The 39-year-old said, "I'm sad about the result, but sooner or later the news will come out. I do have a decision made in my mind, but it's not the moment to share it. It's not an individual sport, but my four years here were very good. Not that I didn't believe in myself, but with my age and the intensity of this league, it's rare to see players at a high level at 39."

Chelsea will be next up against Arsenal and they sit at the ninth position in the table irrespective of the position they are in they would like to spoil the Gunners's title race hopes.
