The dominance of Liverpool can be understood by the fact they have conceded only 17 goals compared to the 45 goals they have scored, having a big goal difference of 28.

Coming back to Liverpool’s star in-form right winger Mohamed Salah, he recently cleared his approach on being asked about his contention for the Ballon d’Or award.

“The only thing in my mind is I want Liverpool to win the league and I want to be a part of that. That's the only thing I think about this season. I will do my best for the team to win the trophy, we're going in the right direction, but a few other teams are trying to catch us and they're very good teams. We have to stay focused, humble, work hard and go again,” said Salah to Sky Sports’ Patrick Davison.

We're far away from that – Mohamed Salah on any news on his future

Salah has been in an excellent run of form on the field while playing for Liverpool, scoring 17 goals and 13 assists in their 18 Premier League appearances. He scored a goal, alongside two assists in the last game against West Ham to play a crucial role in the comprehensive 5-0 win of The Reds.

Furthermore, in his conversation with Sky Sports, Salah also ended the rumours surrounding his stint at Liverpool and potential contract as his ongoing contract will expire at the end of the current season.

“No, we're far away from that (giving some good news on his future). I don't want to put something in the media and people start saying stuff, but nothing has moved and now we're focused on the team,” he said.
